Recent Finished Projects #3

Hey guys! These past 2 weeks have flown by for me. I've been so busy it's been hard for me to find time to crochet and blog! Sorry about that. You can thank my 5 month old who only sleeps when he feels like it, and my 2 year old who only naps once in a blue moon! I'm exhausted to say the least.

It's taken me a little longer, but I do have a bunch of new crochet projects to share with you! I've been hooking whenever I can to try and save my sanity.
I also have a lot going on behind the scenes here at The Hippy Hooker. I've been working on a lot of new things, so it may seem like I'm missing for a while, but I'm working harder than ever to make this site what I want it to be! You can expect lots of new free patterns, especially for beginners, and I'm thinking about branching out into other areas as well such as toddler activities (I love to try new things I find on Pinterest!), recipes, weekly free pattern reviews, and way more! I hope you stick around, and don't forget to like me on facebook, follow me on pinterest, and sign up for the newsletter in the sidebar!

So back to the point of this post...

Here's what I've been working on:

I've made two pairs of these fingerless gloves. One in grey, and one(pictured) grey and turquoise. I made up the pattern myself, and as always it's very easy. The pattern will be released sometime this week so stay tuned! I love the grey/turquoise combo. Any ideas of what I should name the pattern? Leave a suggestion in the comments!!

This scarf came together when I found some clearance chunky yarn at Michaels for $1.99 each! I tried to get a good picture but the color is more of a chocolate brown than what is shown.

I found this free pattern by Fiber Flux called the Pavement Infinity Scarf. It was love at first sight on Pinterest. It's working up wonderfully fast, and although the yarn I have is a little chunkier than what is suggested in the pattern, I'm loving the thickness of it.

Of course I had to make Jude some mittens to match my fingerless gloves! Thanks to my trusty pinterest board I had this wonderfully simple pattern from My Hobby Is Crochet. I just love her blog and she has so many great free patterns. Jude loves his new mittens!

Well there you have it, that's what I've got in the works so far. Keep your eyes open for lots more from The Hippy Hooker!
